TEATRO IS COMING TO YOU AGAIN!
Exciting news! Teatro de las Américas is taking its third production of 2008, Tu Ternura Molotov/Your Molotov Kisses, directed by Lourdes Solorzano, on the road, once again! Written by Venezuelan playwright Gustavo Ott, the play will be presented in Spanish with projected English translation. It will be performed throughout Ventura County, at various locations.

Victoria is a young and popular television news anchor. Her husband Daniel is a prominent lawyer at a prestigious law firm. The couple want to have a son and have decided to use scientific calculations to produce a child of the desired gender. One afternoon they escape from work to "do the deed" waiting for the precise body temperature to insure that she gets pregnant with a baby boy. However, Victoria and Daniel must confront the past, when unexpectedly a package from the FBI arrives before the right temperature does.

Gustavo Ott is an award winning playwright. His plays have been widely produced not only in his home, Venezuela (22 productions), but also abroad (19 productions) including Spain, Italy, Peru, England, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia and more, including the United States' cities of New York and Washington, DC. Gustavo Ott, direct from Caracas, Venezuela, will be present at the early performances, where the audience will have an opportunity for questions and dialogue.
